Chloe's First Christmas

Chloe had a great first Christmas!  She was completely spoiled by gifts she received in the mail, at home and in person from family.  Thanks to everyone who helped spoil our baby girl for her first Christmas.  Traveling was a little difficult on our little pumpkin but she had a great time visiting with family.

Roll Over, Roll Over

Chloe started to roll over the weekend of her Baptism and I have not been able to catch it on video. Well, I finally got a video of her rolling over from front to back. I was not quick enough with the video camera to catch her rolling over from back to front which she did right before this clip begins. We are so proud of our super strong girl!

Chloe started daycare this week and transitioned well into her new setting. I am very grateful that it was more difficult for me than it was for her. After seeing her do so well this week, it is getting easier for me to handle. Michelle, Chloe's daycare provider, had many nice things to say about Chloe when we picked her up yesterday. She thinks we have a future gymnast on our hands! She can't believe how strong Chloe is at such a young age. She was shocked when Chloe first rolled over at her house. She said that Chloe fits in really well and they love to see her smiles, hear her coos and watch her interact with toys and others. I am so thankful that we found such a great place for Chloe!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We are celebrating Thanksgiving with just our little family today! We are happy to have this time together. We are thankful for having wonderful family and friends in our lives. We are truly blessed with all that we have. (Again, she is constantly in motion. Check out the movement of her feet in the first pic and arms in the second pic!)

Chloe's Baptism

We celebrated Chloe's Baptism last Saturday, November 12, 2011. We were very lucky to have so many people from our families travel here to celebrate with us. Our Baptisms are celebrated within the Mass. Chloe definitely let us know what she thought about being baptized as she was quite loud with her protests! It was a great weekend and a blessed Baptism.

3 Months Old Already

Can you believe it?! Chloe is 3 months old already. She has really made some great changes in her development over the past couple of weeks. She is growing and changing so quickly. As of yesterday, she now weighs 13 lbs, 5 oz. My favorite new skill is her laughing! I just love it and will do anything, no matter how silly, to get it! When awake, Chloe seems to be in constant motion so it was tricky getting her to sit still for these photos.

Chloe's First Halloween

Chloe's first Halloween was pretty uneventful but she sure did look cute! It was pretty cold outside so we briefly visited our neighbors who sat outside to hand out candy. Chloe was able to show off her cuteness! Brandon was able to sit with the neighbors and hand out candy for the first time in years thanks to his new normal schedule job. In years past, he would have been in bed already.
Chloe was given 3 Halloween outfits which she modeled throughout the day.

This outfit was given to Chloe by her Grandma Nancy. She wore this at night and we found out that it glows in the dark!

Chloe's cousin Addy picked out this outfit for her. Nana and Papa Baker were able to bring it down during their visit in September. Chloe wore this during the day.

This outfit was given to Chloe by my friend Debbie which she wore to Debbie's fall party on Saturday.

Back to the Blog

Wow, it has been well over a year since I have posted on here. A lot has changed over that year. Life is completely different than a year ago and I wouldn't change it for the world! I decided to come back to the blog so that I can post updates and Chloe stuff without bombarding facebook with constant updates, pictures and videos. Life is good!

Chloe began to laugh yesterday which is just so awesome! Brandon and I have been enjoying her giggles all day today. She particularly enjoyed me "roaring" at her today. Brandon was able to get it on video in a short clip. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! I think I have watched this brief video a hundred times already. Enjoy!!
